Hawaii Maternal and Child Health Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (MCHLEND)

Mission statement:

The MCH LEND program provides interdisciplinary leadership training in maternal and child focused specifically on children with special health care needs. Advanced graduate students and post-graduate professionals from ten health disciplines participate as trainees in the program: pediatric medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, psychology, nutrition, nursing, social work, and health administration. Faculty representing these disciplines make up the core faculty and provide mentorship in the implementation of the training program.
