Disclaimer: “Physical Activity. The Arthritis Pain Reliever” is a health communication campaign for general use by state health departments and their partners. The only modifications that can be made to the campaign materials is to add the health department or program logo and to replace the national 1-800 number with a local response number.
Materials for a GENERAL campaign can be downloaded for ready use (with the toll-free telephone number of the Arthritis Foundation National Office).
Materials for a LOCALIZABLE campaign provide space to add a local phone number and health department logo.
Content, appearance, and availability are the same for both types of materials.
A “How To” Guide has been provided to CDC-funded State Health Departments. Download the How To Guide (PDF-474K).
Note: If you are considering implementing the “Physical Activity. The Arthritis Pain Reliever,” health communications campaign, please coordinate efforts with the Arthritis Program in your State Health Department.
