Forest ProductsWelcome!This site describes timber and special forest products managment within our forests. In addition to Timber Sale Contracts and Stewardship Projects, there are a wide variety of forest products available on the lands within the Fremont-Winema National Forests. Special Forest Products are forest resources not associated with Timber Sale Contracts or Stewardship Projects but are used for personal, commercial, and scientific purposes. Examples are firewood, mushrooms, transplants, Christmas trees, posts and poles, boughs, and cones.
