Where to Recycle C&D Debris

Many C&D Recycling Market Directories are available on the internet from your state environmental agency or recycling association. Unfortunately, these directories do not always contain current information. Always call first, before attempting to take a load of materials to a C&D recycler!

Illinois: Chicago Department of the Environment Chicagoland C&D Recyclers

Michigan: Michigan DEQ Recycled Materials Market Directory. This directory includes listings for processors, collectors, and brokers of reclaimable materials in various categories including C&D Debris.

Minnesota: Minnesota PCA's Recycling Markets Directory has a special section devoted to C&D Debris.

Ohio: Ohio EPA C&D Recycling Directory and Resource Guide

Wisconsin: Wisconsin DNR Recycling Markets Directory

Other: Construction Materials Recycling Association

Habitat for Humanity ReStores accept donations of and sell used and surplus building materials.

Visit the General Services Administration Construction Waste Management Database to identify local haulers and processors.

Visit Earth911 to locate construction reuse and recycling markets across the U.S.
