ACTION: Amendment to notice of meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: This amends the notice of an open meeting of the National Educational Research Policy and Priorities Board published on Tuesday, November 14, 1995, in Vol. 60, No. 219, page 57231. This notice changes the status of the meeting from open to partially closed. This document is intended to notify the general public of the closed session. DATE: December 1, 1995. TIMES: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., (open); 11 a.m.-noon, (closed); noon-2 p.m. (open). SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The meeting of the Board is closed to the public from 11 a.m. to 12 noon under the authority of Section 10(d) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463; 5 U.S.C. Appendix 2) and under exemptions (2) and (6) of Section 552b(c) of the Government in the Sunshine Act (Pub. L. 94-409; 5 U.S.C. 552b(c). The Board will discuss the internal personnel rules and practices of the Board and the personal qualifications and experience of potential candidates for the position of executive director. Such discussions would touch upon matters that would disclose information of a personal nature where disclosure would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy if conducted in open session. A summary of the activities at the closed session and related matters which are informative to the public consistent with the policy of Title 5 U.S.C. 552b(c) will be available to the public within 14 days of the meeting.
