Here's a quick list of services and amenities available within a 20 mile radius of the Grand Canyon South Rim. See descriptions below for details, locations, and exceptions (some of these services are only available at designated locations).

ADA Compliant Accommodations
Rooms designed for guests with physical disabilities are available at Kachina, Thunderbird, Maswik and Yavapai.
Bank & ATM
Bank and 24-hour ATM located at Market Plaza (adjacent to Yavapai Lodge). Open year-round. Call 928.638.2437.
Bell & Concierge Services
Luggage service is available at all of our lodges. Limited concierge services are available only at El Tovar Hotel.
Bus Service to the Park

Open Road tours also offers shuttle service from Phoenix and Flagstaff to the Canyon. Call 877.226.8060.
Bus Tours of the Park
On the South Rim, guided bus tours include: Sunrise, Sunset, Desert View, and Hermits Rest Road. Tours are available throughout the year. Wheelchair-accessible coaches are available by prior arrangement.

Car rentals are available by advance reservations only at the Grand Canyon Airport.

Fuel & Garage Services
Gas, diesel, and propane are available in Tusayan, a community located just south of the park. Also available, seasonally, at Desert View.
Mechanical services for your car, truck, RV, etc. may be obtained at the Grand Canyon Garage, which is located on the main park loop road, near the Grand Canyon Railway Depot, just east of Grand Canyon National Park Lodges' General Offices. Call 928.638.2631.
Guest Laundry
Coin-operated laundry facilities are available next to Mather Campground. Hours vary seasonally.

Medical Services
The Grand Canyon Walk-In Clinic is open all year. Phone 928.638.2551. Emergency medical services are provided by rangers and clinic staff - dial 911 (from hotel rooms dial 9-911). A dentist serves the South Rim by appointment only. Call 928.638.2395.
Park Information Centers
Canyon View Information Plaza - located at Mather Point and open daily year-round, hours vary seasonally:
- Winter: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Summer: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Available facilities include restrooms, pay phones, bookstore, and shuttle bus stops.
Canyon View Information Center can be reached by riding the free shuttle bus or walking the short distance from Mather Point. You can not drive to Canyon View Information Plaza.
Desert View Information Center - located at the park's east entrance on the South Rim. Open daily 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, except during the winter months when open as staffing permits. Public restrooms located nearby.
Park Kennel
Leashed pets are allowed on South Rim Trails throughout the developed areas in the park. Pets are NOT permitted below the rim or on park busses (except for service animals). Pets are also not permitted in guestrooms in any of the Grand Canyon National Park Lodges and must be boarded at the kennel. The kennel accepts dogs and cats only, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily and reservations are recommended. Pets are accepted for day or overnight boarding and food is included. Proof of vaccination must be provided upon entering the kennel. The park kennel is located at the South Rim near Maswik Lodge. For reservations and more information call 928.638.0534.

Park Shuttles: South Rim
Free shuttle buses operate on three routes at Grand Canyon National Park:
- Hermits Rest Route
- Village Route
- Kaibab Trail Route
No tickets are required, and bus stops are clearly marked throughout the park by signs.

Park Shuttles: Rim to Rim
The Trans-Canyon Shuttle runs between the north and south rims once each day, in each direction, and the travel time is about 4 1/2 hours each way. Shuttle operates mid-May through mid-October. There is a fee for this service. Call 928.638.2820.
Parking
When visiting the South Rim, park your vehicle and ride the shuttle bus to Canyon View Information Plaza, then plan your visit. At Canyon View Information Plaza you will find informative exhibits about Grand Canyon and an inspiring view of the canyon is only a short stroll away.
Parking is available in lots throughout Grand Canyon Village. There is no charge for parking inside the park. Please avoid parking along the roadside except where signs or lines on the road indicate that it is permissible.

Safety Deposit Boxes
Contact the Front Desk at your Xanterra South Rim, L.L.C. lodge for more information. Safety deposit boxes are available only to lodge guests.
Taxi Service
Taxi service is available to the Grand Canyon Airport, trailheads, and other destinations. This service is provided daily, around the clock. Call 928.638.2822 or 928.638.2631, ext. 6563.
