Hours of Operation

The Environmental Science Center Library is open Monday through Thursday 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM and 1:00 - 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays.

Borrowing Policy

Borrowing privileges are limited to EPA staff.

Members of the public or students wishing to borrow materials should contact their local public, school, or university library and ask for an Interlibrary Loan. To locate EPA library materials, you can search the Online Library System (OLS), EPA Libraries' online catalog. If you have any questions, please call or e-mail.

Information For Other Libraries: We freely share materials with other libraries in North America via the OCLC Interlibrary Loan system. Our OCLC symbol is EJD and we are members of FEDL (Federal Libraries and Information Centers) and LVIS (Libraries Very Interested in Sharing). For libraries that do not have OCLC access, please contact the Librarian at (215) 814-5254 for alternate methods.

About the Collection

The Library, part of EPA's Mid-Atlantic Regional Office (Region 3), features a collection of reference materials. The main focus of the Environmental Science Center Library collection is analytical chemistry pertaining to the environment.
