AUSTIN, Texas -- Homeowners, renters and business owners who suffered losses and damage from Hurricane Ike can still visit the FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Center at the African American Chamber of Commerce in Houston, until further notice. 

State and federal officials were able to extend a rental lease for the center, which was scheduled to close on Friday, Oct. 24. The center's address and new hours are listed below:
