Birmingham U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings today visited Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Ala., with Governor Bob Riley. She discussed President Bush's American Competitiveness Initiative, a comprehensive new plan to ensure that American students and workers remain the world leaders in opportunity and innovation.
Attached are details on the Advanced Placement Incentive Program, which supports the need for American students to take rigorous math and science courses to be prepared for college and the workforce.
