Colorado Coalition for the Homeless
Denver, CO
Since 1994, the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) has provided housing, health services, and supportive programs to homeless families and individuals throughout the State of Colorado. Health care services, including medical, prenatal, vision, dental, mental health, and pharmacy, are provided free of charge at CCH's Stout Street Clinic. CCH provides housing support by developing and managing properties that meet the unique needs of the homeless. Many of its housing facilities integrate treatment programs with living quarters. Supportive programs focus on outreach and emergency services, affordable childcare, and benefits acquisition.
Key CCH coordination and expansion services and programs for women include:
- Fair Housing, Education, and Outreach Initiative Program;
- Legislative Action Day;
- Renaissance Housing Model;
- Housing support;
- Provision of health care services; and
- Job skill development.
