Wildlife, Fish and Rare Plant Partnership Program Overview
Partnerships
in the Eastern Region Wildlife Fish and Rare Plant program involves other
government agencies, colleges/universities, communities, non-governmental
organizations, conservation groups, private foundations, other Regions,
Forest Service Research, and the Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry.
Providing quality
recreation experiences to enhance fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing
experiences as well as local school partnerships are the focus of these
relationships. Some of the more outstanding Eastern Region partnerships
include:
