| (Washington D.C.)- Resident Commissioner Luis Fortuño announced today, Monday, that votes will be held in the House of Representatives regarding bill
H. R 1019. If it is approved, the building located at the González Clemente Avenue in Mayagüez will be named the Rafael Martínez Nadal United States Customhouse Building.
The Resident Commissioner said that “it is of great importance to give recognition to those people, such as Don Rafael Martinez Nadal, who dedicated their lives to obtain political equality with a high regard for civility and respect. He is worthy to be emulated by this generation and future ones.”
