The Coalition Assessment Survey Tool is a rating sheet that assesses how a coalition is performing in 7 areas of its development: Inclusive Membership, Internal Communication, Clear Mission, Effective Group Process, Evaluates Success, External Communication and Achieving Goals.
Community Organizers often use the survey tool to discern where to offer assistance in a coalition's development. And a coalition or group can use the tool to learn where they may need additional skills and support.
