Nimbus: 1963 - 2004

First launched in 1964, the Nimbus satellites carried numerous instruments. Some of those instruments included microwave radiometers, atmospheric sounders, ozone mappers, the Coastal Zone Color Scanner (CZCS), infrared radiometers, etc.
