Since January 2006, EPA has facilitated a multi-stakeholder group consisting of states, e-manufacturers, e-recyclers, trade associations and public interest groups to develop the Responsible Recycling Practices.

The Federal Electronics Challenge (FEC) is a new
voluntary program that encourages government agencies
to manage electronics waste in an environmentally
responsible way. FEC has put together this checklist
