Secretary Spellings attends a breakfast roundtable with business and higher education leaders in New York City.  She discussed higher education, the business community's role in preparing students to compete in the 21st century global economy, and the importance of reauthorizing the No Child Left Behind Act. Secretary Spellings is greeted by Herb Allison, CEO of the Teachers Insurance Annuity Association of America -- College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA-CREF).  TIAA-CREF, the Partnership for New York City, and the Business Higher Education Forum hosted the event where Secretary Spellings discussed higher education, the business community's role in preparing students to compete in the 21st century global economy, and the importance of reauthorizing the No Child Left Behind Act.
