NNIS Treatment Plan

Each year the White Mountain National Forest conducts a review of the status of invasive plants on Forest lands. This process, led by the Forest Botanist, encompasses the following actions:

Annually, in the spring of each year, the results of the process are posted to the Forest's website. The sites posted are the treatment priorities for the current year. It is often a mix of herbicide, manual and biological control actions. They are presented in the form of a map -- showing the location of each treatment action, and a table indicating treatment site locations, target species, treatment methods to be utilized, and treatment time frame.

Questions or concerns regarding any of the proposed actions should be directed to Christopher Mattrick, Forest Botanist, cmattrick@fs.fed.us or (603)528-8755.
