Agency Vulnerability Scanning is an agency initiative to evaluate, select and manage the vulnerability tools required for vulnerability scanning used by all NASA centers, activities, and system owners.
The continuing evolving threats to the NASA IT systems require the continuing evaluation, selection, integration, and management of IT Vulnerability tools that are used by system owners and administrators to evaluate the specific vulnerabilities to their IT systems. The integrated vulnerability scanning tool is continually updated so that IT system owners have the latest available protection against hacking, computer virus, and associated risk to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of NASA IT systems.
