Elizabeth Cordova-Harrison
Director, Management Services Office

Ms. Elizabeth Cordova-Harrison has a long standing career with the Bureau of Reclamation and was named Director, Management Services Office in February 2003. In this position she serves as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and the Head of the Contracting Activity. The position oversees the Finance, Accounting, Acquisition and Assistance Management, and Business Analysis Offices.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Cordova-Harrison served as the Deputy Director of the Office of Policy from 2000 - 2003. As the Deputy Director, she was responsible for serving as the principal staff within Reclamation for developing, formulating and ensuring uniform application of natural resources policies, directives and standards, and regulations.

From 1996-2000, Ms. Cordova-Harrison was the Area Manager for the Oklahoma-Texas Area Office. As the Area Manager she was responsible for 13 Reclamation projects including all the dams, reservoirs, and surrounding lands.

During 1994 -1996, Ms. Cordova-Harrison served as Liaison Officer for the Great Plains Region (Montana, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Kansas) at Reclamation's headquarters in Washington, D.C. In that position, she worked on regional issues of significant importance and served as a Washington point-of-contact for Reclamation managers and Congressional members for the Region. She also served as an advisor to the Department of the Interior officials on all regional issues.

Before being named as the Liaison Officer, Ms. Cordova-Harrison served as a Natural Resource Specialist in the Great Plains Regional Office in Billings, Montana, from 1990 until 1994, and in Reclamation's El Paso Project Office in Texas. She began her full-time Federal career as a ranger with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE), at the Mark Twain Lake Project in Missouri, where she served as the Chief Ranger for Visitor Assistance.

Ms. Cordova-Harrison received her Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from New Mexico State University at Las Cruces, New Mexico.
