Subject: grant petition on human safety 

I am writing to you to urge the FDA to grant petition 98B-0151/CP1 to
prohibit the slaughter of downed animals for human food. They are dragged
with chains or pushed with tractors or forklifes. There is also the question
of human food safety concerns from bacterial contamination.
