Dr. Das’s laboratory focuses on the advancement of model-driven architectures and Semantic Web technologies (XML, OWL, SWRL) to support temporal reasoning, data integration, and collaborative systems in health care and the life sciences.
Informatics is the study of information: its structure, its communication, and its use. As society becomes increasingly information intensive, the need to understand, create, and apply new methods for modeling, managing, and acquiring information has never been greater – especially in biomedicine.
