Federal Facilities
As a part of EPA's National Federal Facilities Enforcement Office, Region 9's Federal Facilities Compliance Program (FFCP) ensures that federal facilities act as necessary to prevent, control, and reduce environmental pollution. FFCP helps federal facilities comply with environmental laws by encouraging partnerships with EPA programs. Each year, FFCP awards "Green Government" certificates, recognizing superior efforts to achieve environmental quality in federal facilities beyond current standards.
