The Data Pool HDFEOS-to-GeoTiff (HEG) Tool
The Data Pool HDFEOS-to-GeoTiff (HEG) tool provides the ability to reformat, reproject, or spatially subset data available via the LP DAAC Data Pool. The Data Pool HEG services are completed prior to product distribution, and may be applied only to products in the Data Pool.
The following tables summarize LP DAAC Data Pool HEG capabilities and available outputs for supported instruments. Additional information is provided in the HEG Quick-Start Tutorial, and in the HEG User's Guide for Data Pool. ASTER and MODIS product information is presented at the LP DAAC web site.
