Arctic Investigations Program is located in Anchorage, Alaska. Our history begins in 1948 with over 50 years of experience in improving Arctic health.
AIP mission is prevention of infectious diseases in peoples of the Arctic and Subarctic with special emphasis on diseases of high incidence and concern among Alaska Natives and American Indians. We accomplish this with the help of our Partners in Research.
The staff at AIP provides support for infectious disease prevention and control research studies through applied epidemiology, laboratory, computer and statistical sciences.
