    Sponsored by the Harvard Center for Cancer Prevention to help you determine your risk for 5 different diseases.
  • Genetic and Rare Disease Information Center
    Established by the National Human Genome Research Institute and the Office of Rare Diseases to answer questions from the general public (in English or Spanish) about genetics and rare diseases.
  • U.S. Surgeon General's Family History Initiative
    Provides a free web-based tool that helps users organize family history information and then print it out for presentation to the family doctor. In addition, the tool helps users save their family history information to their own computer and even share family history information with other family members.
  • FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered This reference links to a non-governmental website
    FORCE is a nonprofit organization for women who are at high risk of getting breast and ovarian cancers due to their family history and genetic status, and for members of families in which a BRCA mutation may be present.
