RALEIGH, N.C. -- Specially equipped mobile information centers continue touring North Carolina's disaster-struck counties to give business owners and homeowners an opportunity to learn cost-effective rebuilding methods and techniques that can make their properties more disaster-resistant.

Advisers with the mobile centers are providing visitors with basic disaster mitigation solutions, such as elevating heating systems, electrical panels, water heaters, and installing back-flow valves on sewer and septic systems. The mobile centers will operate from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:
