Disaster Recovery Centers No Longer Open On Sundays

CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- Federal and state officials announced today a change in the hours of the Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs). The DRCs will no longer open on Sundays. They will remain open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and close on Sundays beginning June 27.

To register for disaster assistance, residents who suffered damages from the storms that began on Memorial Day should call the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) toll free number 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or TTY 1-800-462-7585 for the speech or hearing impaired. The DRC may be visited when there are questions about the status of an application or when it needs to be updated. Residents can also receive help with the U.S. Small Business Administration loan application and get information on repairing and rebuilding. The DRC locations and schedules follow:
