KANSAS CITY, KS. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Kansas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster have compiled a list of organizations that are accepting donations on behalf of the Greensburg tornado victims. The most effective way people can assist in the tornado relief efforts is through monetary donations to the humanitarian organizations providing disaster relief services in the affected area. Anyone wishing to help may contact one of the following organizations directly.

Default location for all donations (not just food). The Food Bank will sort donations and deliver them to all distribution centers near Greensburg.
Items currently needed: Gallon size cans of food, snack foods, rakes, shovels, tarps, work gloves, sunscreen
Goodwill Industries
