Limited English Proficiency
The Office of Small Business and Civil Rights, Civil Rights Program (CRP)
establishes and oversees the implementation of the NRC’s plan for
improving access
to agency programs and activities by persons with limited English proficiency
(LEP) .
This plan identifies the policies, procedures, and steps that the NRC
will take to ensure that persons with LEP can meaningfully access and
understand information about NRC-conducted programs and activities.
In addition, the CRP establishes and oversees the implementation of the
NRC's Guidance
to Federal Financial Assistance Recipients Regarding Title VI Prohibition
Against National Origin Discrimination Affecting Limited English Proficient
Persons .
