These tsunami evacuation planning maps for the ocean side of San Francisco and San Mateo counties (from Lincoln Park to San Gregorio ONLY) are based on modeling of potential earthquake sources and hypothetical extreme undersea, near-shore landslide sources. Maximum run-up to a specific contour was determined to be reasonable. This contour is 12.8 meters (42 feet) in these two counties. These maps were produced by OES and are intended for local jurisdictional, coastal evacuation planning uses only. Maps for Marin and Sonoma counties are not yet available. MORE INFO
