TO ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE
Printable Version PDF Icon

Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials have assigned Ed Crowe as the resident inspector at the Arkansas Nuclear One power plant near Russellville, Arkansas. He joins Senior Resident Inspector Rick Deese at the two-unit site.

Mr. Crowe joined the NRC as a project engineer in the Region IV office in Arlington, Texas, in December 2001, where he was assigned to the Division of Reactor Projects as a project engineer. Prior to joining the NRC, Mr. Crowe worked for five years for the General Physics Corporation, performing contract activities as a licensed operator instructor. He also worked for 11 years for TXU, performing similar activities at their Comanche Peak nuclear power plant in Glen Rose, Texas.

Mr. Crowe and his wife, Linda, will reside in Russellville.

Each U.S. commercial nuclear power plant has at least two NRC resident inspectors. They serve as the agency’s eyes and ears at the facility, conducting regular inspections, monitoring significant work projects and interfacing with plant workers and the public. The resident inspectors at Arkansas Nuclear One can be reached at (479) 968-3290.
