NRC TO HOLD
15TH ANNUAL REGULATORY INFORMATION CONFERENCE |

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission
staff will hold its 15th annual Regulatory Information Conference from Wednesday,
April 16, to Friday, April 18, at the Capital Hilton Hotel, 16th and K Streets,
NW, Washington, DC. The conference will open at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday and
at 8:00 a.m. Thursday and Friday. There is no conference fee and the sessions
will be open to the public.
The conference focuses on developing a better understanding of future trends for improved nuclear safety and on challenges shaping NRC policies and programs. "RIC 2003" will bring together NRC management, its regulated utilities, and other interested stakeholders for discussions regarding safety initiatives and regulatory trends, as well as issues such as fire protection and new and advanced reactor designs.
