NOTE TO EDITORS:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on the Medical Uses of Isotopes has scheduled meetings of two of its subcommittees in Rockville, Maryland. The diagnostic subcommittee will meet on February 23-24, followed by a meeting of the therapeutic subcommittee on February 25-26.
At both meetings, members will discuss comments received on the proposed revision to NRC's rule on the medical use of byproduct material (Part 35), published for comment last August.
The meetings, which are open to the public, will be held in Room O-4B6 of the agency's One White Flint North building at 11555 Rockville Pike. Each meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m. the first day, and until noon on the second day.
