NRC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS |

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) will hold a public meeting Oct. 4-6 in Rockville, Md., to discuss, among other items, two issues related to new reactors: the development of the Master Integrated Plan, and proposed updates to regulatory guides and standard review plan sections. The committee will also discuss the draft final revision 3 to Regulatory Guide 1.7, “Control of Combustible Gas Concentrations in Containment.” The meeting will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency’s Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day and end at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 7 p.m. on Thursday, and 1 p.m. on Friday.
