NRC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS |

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) will hold a public meeting March 9-11 in Rockville, Md., to discuss, among other items, the final review of the Early Site Permit application for the Clinton Nuclear Power Plant in Illinois and the license renewal application for three Browns Ferry reactors in Alabama. The committee will also discuss the debris blockage issue in Pressurized Water Reactor sumps.
The meeting will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency’s Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike. On Thursday, the session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Friday session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Saturday session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A complete agenda is available on the NRC’s Web site at: http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/acrs/agenda/2006/.
