NRC Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards to Meet in Rockville, Maryland on June 28 and 29 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards has scheduled a meeting of its subcommittee on reliability and probabilistic risk assessment on June 28 and 29 in Rockville, Maryland. On June 28, the subcommittee will discuss the proposed final American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Standard related to probabilistic risk assessment quality. The following day it will review the status of risk-informed revisions to Part 50, "Domestic Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities, " of the Commission's regulations in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The subcommittee will discuss a proposed revision to 10 CFR 50.44 concerning combustible gas control systems, issues identified in a Nuclear Energy Institute letter dated last January 19, and public comments relating to the proposed regulation 10 CFR 50.69 and associated Appendix T. The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency's Two White Flint Building, at 11545 Rockville Pike, starting at 8:30 a.m. each day.
