Living the Legacy -- Curriculum Materials
The park has developed educational materials intended for on-site visits, but much of it can be adapted for classroom use. The program is aimed at grades two through six. This curriculum guide includes modules geared toward the three distinct time periods covered at our site. Each module contains historical background information, glossary, short stories, classroom activities, and songs. Click on the links to download the modules. You will need Adobe Reader.

Did You Know?
The only known image of Judge Parker in his courtroom is this one from the federal courthouse on Sixth Street which dates from the 1890s. There are no photographs of the courtroom located in the former military barracks.
