On January 24th and 25th, 2008, HuGENet™ will be hosting the HuGENet Workshop, “HuGE Networks, Genome-Wide Association Studies, and the Knowledge Base on Genetic Variation and Human Health”, at the CDC Global Communications Center in Atlanta, GA.

The HuGE Tracknon-gov warning icon a custom track that links the contents of the HuGE Navigator non-gov warning icon to the UCSC Genome Browser non-gov warning icon was created in November. Researchers can use this resource to visualize genes of interest and retrieve relevant articles on genetic associations.

As of December 4, 2007, the HuGE Navigator non-gov warning icon contains 30,905 research studies, referencing 3,102 genes,and 1,928 health outcomes/diseases. Both epidemiologic studies and review articles can be found in the database which includes 64 HuGE Reviews and 605 meta-analyses.
