Bridge Management

A bridge management software tool called Pontis was developed under an FHWA contract during the early 1990's. The software became and AASHTO product in 1994

The online training program "Referentia for PONTIS" is available and a revised version to reflect changes to Pontis is underdevelopment.

The group has also been active in developing guidance for managing other structural assets. A manual is available for procedures for inspecting tunnels along with one for techniques for maintaining tunnel components.
