The major features of our world will be investigated on globes and maps. Planimetric, topographic, landsat, and GPS/GIS maps will be examined and students will have the opportunity to create their own maps. This unit has been partially funded by the National Park Foundation's Parks as Classrooms program. (60 minutes)
