South:
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast Wednesday along the Southeast and Gulf coasts as a storm system moves eastward towards the Atlantic.
Highs will range in the 80s-90s for much of the region.
Northeast:
Rain is forecast for the Northeast Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. The rainfall may be accompanied by damaging winds, hail, and the potential for isolated tornadoes.
Highs for the region will be in the 70s-80s for the next few days.
Midwest:
Some scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the Midwest, especially in the area extending from western Michigan to the Dakotas.
Highs will be in the 70s-80s.
West:
Most of the West will be dry and sunny.

A Fire Management Assistance Grant (#2698) was approved by FEMA Disaster Assistance at 1415 hours June 19, 2007 for the Newcastle Fire in Garfield County Colorado. The wildfire has burned at least 400 acres. The fire, caused by lightning, is threatening 400 homes. By Tuesday afternoon, 40 homes had been evacuated with another 60 homes pending. (FEMA HQ)
