Disaster Recovery Center To Open In Monongalia County

Charleston, WV -- State and federal officials announce the opening of a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Monongalia County to assist those who suffered losses and damages from the recent severe storms, flooding and landslides. The DRC will open on Friday, July 18 at 10 a.m. at the following location:

White Birch Towers
(American Red Cross)
1299 Pineview Dr.
Morgantown, WV

The center will be open Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The DRC will be closed on Sundays. The final day for services will be Tuesday, July 29 until 7 p.m.

At the DRC, representatives from FEMA, the State of West Virginia and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will provide information on disaster recovery programs. Additionally, the SBA will be available to help those affected fill out applications for low-interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes.
