Charleston, WV -- Federal and state officials announce The West Virginia Division of Highways and its contractors will discontinue pickup of disaster-related debris as of 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16.

People should bring storm-generated debris to the curb for collection or to a designated storm-debris waste site before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16.

Disaster-related debris may include any of the following and should be placed off of private property:

Those who are physically unable to transport disaster-related debris to the curb should contact their county office of emergency services for assistance and information.

After July 16, traditional community trash removal schedules will resume.
