San Antonio, TX -- The Mobile Disaster Recovery Center will be in Brown County on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 18, 19, 20 at the Abundant Life Church, 1120 Belle Plain in Brownwood. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. This will make a total of ten centers now open. All the other Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) maintain the same hours and are open Sunday through Saturday.

The Disaster Recovery Centers are staffed with experts to answer questions and give applicants help in completing Small Business Administration (SBA) applications. Information is also available on the various programs for eligible individuals and businesses that have suffered damage from the Texas Floods of 2002.

"Filling out the Small Business Administration Loan Application is easier when you have an expert helping you," stated Scott Wells, federal coordinating officer.

Those who have experienced loss are urged to register by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362), or for speech or hearing impaired, 800-462-7585 TTY.

"There are many programs available for homeowners, renters and businesses," said Duke Mazurek state coordinating officer. "If you have not registered with FEMA for federal and state assistance, do so now. The process starts with that first call. Then visit one of the centers and talk to the experts in person."
