FEMA Announces New Web Site Design

Washington, DC -- FEMA Director Joe M. Allbaugh today unveiled the Agency's redesigned website, www.fema.gov. The redesigned site features improved navigation and user interface, a standardized look and feel across the entire site, an expanded weather feature, and a new user-centric layout.

"The new site will be a great resource for both citizens and emergency management professionals across the country," Allbaugh said. "People come to FEMA's site for information about how to protect their homes from disasters, how to get Flood Insurance or see which counties are endangered by a hurricane -- the redesigned site will help people find that information quickly and reliably."
