Lt. Governor Aiona helped welcome the new volunteers who have been appointed to serve on various boards and commissions in Hawai`i, where they are playing a key role in improving government service and making the state a better place to live and work.

Three legislative bills have been signed into law to advance the State's efforts to combat illegal drug use in Hawai`i.

"These new laws help support our continued aggressive and vigilant approach to combat the challenges and constant threat of drugs in Hawai`i," Lt. Governor Aiona said.
