WASHINGTON, June 30, 2005 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced that as of July 1, 2005, at 12:01 AM EDT, the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) will no longer accept applications for payment guarantees under the CCC Intermediate Export Credit Guarantee Program (GSM-103). This announcement does not affect any other export credit guarantee program administered by CCC. As a result of this action, any remaining country and regional allocations for GSM-103 coverage under fiscal year 2005 program announcements will be reallocated to the existing Export Credit Guarantee Program (GSM-102 program) for that country or region.
