Export Requirements for Haiti

Eligible/Ineligible Products
  1. Federally inspected red meat and red meat products.*
  2. Federally inspected poultry and poultry products.*
  3. Lard, pork ears, tails and hind feet.

Labeling Requirements
  1. Pork hind feet must be labeled "FOR EXPORT TO HAITI ONLY".*

Documentation Requirements
  1. Certification requirements: Meat and Poultry Products.
    1. Obtain FSIS Form 9060-5 (MP Form 130) - Export Certificate of Wholesomeness.
    2. The export certificate is to be visaed by consul of Haiti.

Other Requirements
  1. Import licenses must be obtained for poultry meat, lard, pork ears, tails and hind feet.  The importer must contact the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture.*

Plants Eligible to Export

All federally inspected meat and poultry plants are eligible to export to Haiti.
