	FTC Grants Six-Month Delay of Mandatory Identity Theft Prevention Program Oct. 23, 2008 \| The FTC has announced that it will suspend enforcement of the Identity Theft Red Flag Rules until May 1, 2009, to give institutions additional time to develop and implement identity theft prevention programs.
