The Federal Energy Management Program, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, recognized Michael Ritter, Karen Martinson, and Jean Livingston as Twenty-First Century Citizenship Energy Champions for the You Have the Power campaign.

The campaign is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) initiative to spread the word about conserving energy costs and our natural resources.

The FPL team was honored for their work building a research demonstration house that encompasses healthy, energy-efficient construction practices emphasized by the FPL Advanced Housing Research Center.
